ABOUT THE SPACE
Monolithoi’s distinctive stone forms, crafted from local materials, are paired with uncoated cement finishes to evoke its signature earthy tones. Concrete flooring ensures a seamless visual flow throughout the spaces, while expansive framed windows provide uninterrupted views and create a tranquil interplay of shadow and light, blurring the boundaries between indoors and out. Deeply rooted in the natural landscape, Monolithoi stands as a harmonious extension of the land, embodying the timeless essence of traditional Mani architecture.

WHY THIS SPACE
Each of the Monolithoi houses integrates the iconic symbol of the Mani tower into its design narrative. Around this pivotal element of traditional architecture and local history, the tower hosts the welcoming areas, living rooms, and master bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom located on the tower's second level. Extending from the tower is the central linear section of the structure, which accommodates the kitchens and dining areas. These spaces are thoughtfully designed to transform into semi-outdoor environments, seamlessly connecting the backyard and pool through expansive openings. On the same level, each house features two double bedrooms—one with an en-suite bathroom—and an additional shared bathroom.

The outdoor areas and entrances of the Monolithoi houses are thoughtfully designed to offer privacy while defining distinct spaces. A dynamic arrangement of stone levels creates tiers that blend seamlessly with the natural landscape. These spaces include sea-view zones perfect for leisure activities, which unfold around the infinity pools. Built-in lounges and shaded dining areas further enhance the outdoor experience, offering inviting spaces for relaxation and social gatherings with stunning views.
